Jarrow school reached out to Redway Networks to design a future-proofed network solution that would improve bandwidth and provide high-performance at the network edge.

Following a new network design topology, Redway Networks recommended Aruba core and edge switches to provide a resilient cloud-managed network suitable for the adoption of future technology.

To reduce any downtime, Redway's engineer carried out a remote audit of the school's existing infrastructure and preconfigured the Aruba switches before they were delivered to site.

Next-gen Switches an Investment for the Future

Redway Networks installed the Aruba switches using backplane stacking and multiple bonded 10Gbps high-speed links from network edge to core. The switches were ready to rack which ensured a seamless project and handover to the school's IT team.

The switches can be managed remotely through the cloud-based Aruba dashboard meaning switch configurations and management is easy.

Since installing the Aruba switches, Jarrow School has seen a substantial 500 % increase in bandwidth and the IT team is saving considerable time deploying applications and new devices.
